    I am new to Notepad++.
    I am trying to insert an image, but it's not working.
    here is my code: <img src="ai-logo.png" width="390" height="29" border="0" alt="ai-logo.png - 1908 Bytes">
    I have the image in an images folder in my hardrive. I have tried the code with "images/  - in front of the image name, and it still doesn't work. I DO get something, but it is a skeleton image, not the real picture. I have tried the same code in a different text editor and it works there, but not in Notepad++

    Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.
    thanks!!

    Do you mean that, on opening that file in a browser after saving it, you get a "skeletal" image?

    it looks like this:

    I know that usually means that the code is wrong or the image is in the wrong place,
    but I have triple checked and had other people check, and we can't figure out why the real image won't show.
    this is my code:  <img src="image.jpg" width="390" height="29" border="0" alt="ai-logo.png - 1908 Bytes" />
    is anything incorrect? the image is in an image folder in my hard drive. I have tried it with -image/image.jpg- and without.

    thank you!!!

    Are you sure your image is a jpg and not a png as your alt txt suggest? (ai-logo.png)

    thanks for the reply.
    Yes, I'm sure it's a jpg. I just forgot to change the alt when I was posting.
    The alt is really:
        alt="image.jpg"

    thanks

    Can you email your complete file at quasar850 hat rediffmail doubt com? Something obvious must be missing. I cannot see how N++ is involved actually - you didn't say how exactly you view the file, that could be the problem as well.
