    When I install v6.5.3`to Win7 after the first use the defaut language, English, changes. Also, after pressing F1 the info box has the version as v6.1.6. If I reinstall v6.5.3 he first time I open Notepad++ the language is English all subsequent uses the language has changed and the info box, F1, says the version is v6.1.6 not v6.5.3. I have done complete uninstalls before reinstalling.

    Language change examples:
    File = Pik
    Edit = Edyga
    Open (Ctrl+O) = Otworz
    New (Ctrl+N) = Nowy

    Other than reinstalling I have not been able to change the language back to English and as stated above this is good for only one use.

    Any fixes, ideas?

    It looks like you re opening a legacy version of N++ on your system. Can you check your All programs start menu entry, and see in what folder is your copy of N++ located? Perhaps you'll find osomething you had forgotten about.
    Also, how do you launch N++? you may be using an obsolete shortcut.
