Hi there,
i am looking for a text editor to work on my Nastran ascii files. The required features are :
1- comment lines begin by $ (for example displayed in light gray)
2- line numbers
3- a list of key words that should be coloured (several categories : parameters, commands, ...)
4- a column marker every 8 colums: a thin vertical just after columns 8, 16, 24, 32, 40.... 80.
I am pretty sure notepad++ can do 1, 2 and 3 easily, most of text editors can do that. But do you think 4 is feasible ? Is there a guideline for the creation of a new langage ?
Thanks a millon for your help
