Would it be possible to have a user-defined default Save as filetype?
At the moment, npp uses the All types (*.*) to save a new document, which means I have to rename it if I forgot to add the extension manually.
It'd be nice to have it default to, for example .txt every time.
For others, it is important to save files without extensions (writing makefile's, perl scripts etc.) As far as i know, in Windows, it is far easier to add extension to a file (when it doesn't have one), than it is to get rid of the extension - simply because Windows Explorer doesn't show the extensions.
