    Hi Don and all,

After reading an AZJIO's post at the address below :

    http://sourceforge.net/p/notepad-plus/discussion/331753/thread/44458001/#ab5a

I did some tests in the Style Configurator module and, like AZJIO, I found out something similar : an other minor, but annoying, bug !

    To reproduce this issue :

    • Open the Style Configurator ( Menu Settings - Style Configurator... )

    • Choose the language Global Styles, in the Language list

    • Choose, for example, the style Find Mark Style, in the Style list

=> You should see the Style Configurator window, as in the attached picture Pict_Before.png, below. Notice that it's normally impossible to change the foreground colour of this style

    Then :

    • Select the theme Bespin in the theme list

    • Immediately, select, again, the Default (stylers.xml) style

    • And choose, again, the style Find Mark Style, in the Style

=> This time, you should see the Style Configurator window, as in the attached picture Pict_After.png, below. And it's easy to note that, in comparison with the previous picture, the foreground colour of the Find Mark Style changed. Moreover, it seems, now, possible to change the foreground colour of that style !?

To see the normal attributes of colour of the style Find Mark Style, for the Default theme, you'll need to restart Notepad++ !

If you repeat all this procedure ( with N++ restart, at the end ) and select the Black board theme, ( instead of the Bespin theme ) and so on... till the last Zenburn theme, you should point out that, ONLY, the seven themes, below, DON'T modify the colour's attributes of the Find Mark Style, for the Default theme :

    • HotFudgeSundae
    • khaki
    • MossyLawn
    • Navajo
    • Solarized-light
    • Solarized
    • Zenburn

Of course, this behaviour can be reproduced with other styles, of the Global Styles language, like, for example, the style Selected text colour.

This issue, does occur with the last 6.6.8 version of N++ ! At the beginning, while reading the 6.6.8 change.log file, I thought that the point #3 :

    3. Make internal docking dialogs apply the selected theme's background and foreground colours.

solved that issue, but it doesn't ! May be, it hasn't any connection with that issue ! By the way, Don, what point #3 is it for ?

Thanks for investigating about it !

    Cheers,

    guy038

There are problems with the opening of a batch of files.
Opened only 100 files in one instance.
    Produce:
    1 - Select 110 files in window
    2 - Right click Edit with Notepad++
You get 2 instance with 100 and 10 files.

Much to ask to add option of search
    Search Bookarks in all files
    Search Bookarks all in file

    Good Day!

A NEW UNEXPECTED, ANNOYING AND VERY INCONVENIENT BUG!

The Russian text (coding) into .txt .php files very often gets off.
    (Russian text is wrong.)
It is necessary to establish the Russian manually each time !!
it takes away a lot of time !!
    ( from the menu: Кодировки / Кодировки / Кириллица / Windows 1251 ).
    Before the such was never!

    Hi,

NPP 6.6.8 introduced this new feature:
    3. Make internal docking dialogs apply the selected theme's background and foreground colours.

As a consequence, since upgrading to NPP 6.6.8, the global foreground/background colours is not applied any more to all text of the "Find in Files" docking dialog text. This regression is also present in version 6.6.9.

    Reproduceability:
1/ Do a "Find in Files" search which has some hits
2/ Go to the menu item "Settings/Style Configurator", tab "Global styles", select a foreground/background colour, and click on "Enable global foreground colour" or "Enable global background colour"
=> some characters of the "Find result" tab are changing of colors as expected, but some characters keep the previous colors. See attached document for an example, where the background color has been changed to grey, but is still white on some location...
