Highlighting tags inside PHP code was turned off on purpose to deal with another bug. I don't see any way of doing it properly without implementing a full PHP parser/lexer.

The html tag could be in several forms in php code, so I go for the current behaviour - disable html tag highlighting in php code.

    Don,
that would be great if you can make this a decision of the user, I mean an option in config, something like "enable (force) HighLight, but other bug will popup".

Personally for me it's better to have HighLight enabled + the other bug, than no highlight + no other bug.

Also the reason I would like to move to 6.5 and not to stay with old versions is Function List panel.

+1. I need this feature back too. It's so hard now matching the tags. How will I match the div's now in existing written code.
