      Win software + wine --> Win software for Linux...

      but I think that N++ for Linux will be a great work...

        That is impossible and it will never happen. I can't believe people are still asking for this...
        Notepad++ uses WinAPI calls (no MFC or other frameworks). So, in case if you want it to work on Linux - you'd have to convert all those calls to something else (GTK+? Qt? i don't realy know).

      Under Linux/UNIX, I prefer Emacs or vi.

      However, if you really want to use NotePad++, you might try CrossOffice to install Notepad++.

      Notepad++ uses Scintilla. Scintilla has their own app that runs on linux called Skite.
