Why is it that this application cannot detect URLs in tests, highlight them and launched them when clicked on?
Please add that feature!
This is handy for things such as email clients where there is the convenience of going to an url in one click vs. copying/pasting the address into a browser window.
However, I can see this being an annoyance for a lot of the web development scenarios. Let's say I'm editing a .html file: usually I'll be clicking on an url because I either want to edit it, or select a portion to copy/paste somewhere else. Maybe as a toggle-able option in some way it would be a good feature?
I'm speaking from my own perspective though, so ymmv.
Hyperlink sniffed, highlighted n launched
Not implementing this feature will be a real shame.
It is " a must have" feature in these Internet days;
just the only reason I am not making it my default text editor. Check out Editpad and test drive. It does this beautifully. It is unfortunately a bit slower to launch compared to Notepad++
Looking forward to seeing it in Notepad++ 3.3!
I agree with nobodyman ...
it would be very annoying when coding websites !
