For new release 6.4.2, please check this link:
The lastest english.xml has been synchronized and updated:
Great job, the localization problems in the previous build are fixed now.
A couple of issues I noticed with the function list for C++ files. Having a definition of:
Does not show up in the function list because :: is in the return value.
void myFunc(std::string mystring)
Thinks that myFunc is a method of std
void myFunc() throw (myExc)
Shows "throw" in the list instead of myFunc.
This behavior was also present in 6.4.1. I know it can be hard to catch all of these corner cases without having to go to the trouble of implementing an entire parser. :)
Cool! Thanks for the update!
You finally made the update of lang file. I am very happy! ))
But there is small mistake:
id 44080 Just a blank space -> Document Map
id 2211 -> Style:
What do you mean:
id 2211 -> Style:
Item id="6510" name="Use default value" should be moved from 'Language Menu' to 'Tab Settings'.
You forgot to add:
Settings -> Style Configurator
It works for me.
(see attached file)
My bad, I see.
<Item id="2211" name="Style:"/>
Thank you joergenr and 7GOLEM7
Window Search Results has small font and not store size.
You planning to fix it?
I got the "General Exception" dlg with the FunctionList feature, steps to reproduce:
Cannot reproduce under my windows 7.
What is your OS?
OK, I just reproduced it on my machines windows 8 32 & 64 bits.
The crash issue is fixed, could you try this binary and confirm the fix please?
tried, it is ok now
additionalWordChar still not work
&& has this (screenshot) been fixed, now? :-)
I'm afraid Function List doesn't work by extension.
I did the following changes in functionList.xml:
<association ext = "c" id="cpp_class"/>
<association ext = "cpp" id="c_cpp_function"/>
<!-- <association langID = "2" id="cpp_class"/>
<association langID = "3" id="c_cpp_function"/>
<association langID = "19" id="js_function"/> -->
Then restarted my editor.
Function list become empty for my c and cpp files.
Just for info :
The list of the ten files, different between the two packages "npp.6.4.1.bin.7z" and npp.6.4.2.bin.7z :
In Main folder : functionList.xml, and, of course, Notepad++.exe and change.log
In localization folder : chinese.xml, dutch.xml, english.xml, english_customizable.xml, french.xml and swedish.xml
In plugins folder : DSpellCheck.dll
I think it should be the same differences between the two zip packages !
May be, it'll be useful to someone who wants to easily upgrade, without lost of its preferences !
In 6.4.2 change.log, I saw the point : 3. Enhance the delimiter selection(Ctrl + double click) feature.
Then, I thought that the choice of the delimiter has been added to the Preferences dialog, as suggested in your previous post, at the address below ( BTW, thanks for your rapid answer to my previous post ! ) :
May be, I'm wrong, but I didn't see any change in Preferences dialog, yet. So, please, which kind of enhancement has been added to that feature ?
Indeed, in v6.4.2, user cannot customize the delimiters for ctrl + double click selection via GUI.
This missing feature will be added in v6.4.3 (a new dialog in preference dialog).
Wanted to ask if there are plans to expand the functionality of Bookmarks?
