One feature I have always found handy is the abilty to specify that when you start up to always open the documents you last had open.
As I have a number of informal projects on the go in different IDEs at any one time I sometimes lose track of what I was doing. This feature is a good mental note.
BTW: I find notepad++ great for coding my PHP based website (great job). It's the best mix of speed/features I found and I think I downloaded just about every PHP editor there is.

My questions is related to this, but the opposite ;)
Notepad++ always opens the files, which were opened in the last session. I didnt found the option to deactivate this ... can anybody give me a tipp?
settings -> preferences -> misc -> remember this session for next launch
