What exactly do you mean? How a block is pasted depends on how it was cut or copied. So if you want to paste some column block, you'll have to select it like that.

When doing a "Replace in Selection" operation in a block selection, Notepad++ performs the replacement as if it was a line selection.
Can anyone confirm?
