This may already be possible but there seems to be no documentation for NP++ (or am I just not looking in the right place?)...
TextPad has a feature where you can run a command and capture the output in a new window. This is very handy for basic debugging running / compiling the current file and capture any error messages. Can this be done in NP++?

you can use the NppExec Plugin for that... even if I agree it lacks on Doc...
