While testing the durability of extended file attributes that are saved in ADS on my WinXP system, I found out, that Notepad++ removes them if I save a text with added tags & comments. Is this intended? If no, where can I switch off this behaviour? (MS Notepad does not do that, but I'm used to work with tags and comments on he one and like the comfort of Notepad++ on the other hand.)

On Win8/64 with user account, I can add and edit streams using N++, and I can modify a filethat hs an ADS without changing it.
Please note howeer that editing using the right click menu doesn't work then - if the file has an ADS I could not save the modified file. However, invoking N++ from the command prompt worked like a charm.
