Tested N++ and it is gave a very good impression. I quite liked its speed on large text files. This is where Crimson Editor seems to lag behind.
Noticeably absent is a keystroke macro function, which might not be too difficult to implement.
Have not noticed any auto-indentation when typing a short C program, but maybe I've missed out something, did I?
The macro function is already in the TODO list. So be patient.

I call it "intelligent indentation". No, not yet.
The macro feature is already implemented in the v2.7.
But how about the ability to record multiple macros and the ability to remap the keyboard? By far Notepad++ is THE best PHP/HTML Syntax highlighter I've seen. I come from a Homesite editor and am used to certain keystrokes to output macros(snippits). Like pressing ctrl-space to output or ctrl-enter for <br />. I find it speeds up development process. Stuff like this could make notepad++ THE editor of choice for many programmers.
Thanks again for a great Product
Ok, I'll do the multiple macro memorizer, but I don't promise you the keymap.
