Feature Req: Find/Replace Window Management

    Hello,

Firstly, I want to thank you for developing Notepad++.
I use it every day and I do not plan to change for another editor!

My request concerns the Find/Replace window.
Currently this window floats on the screen.
I have the impression to spend too much time to move it to see the text that is hidden by this one.
I know that there is the transparency option but I am not very satisfied.

Several weeks ago, I have been happy to see that in a new release of Notepad++ the Find result window could be locked on a side of the screen.
I will be very happy if the Find/Replace window could be managed in the same way.

As this two windows ("Find/Replace" and "Find result") are closely dependent,
I think it would be appreciable to not have to click on one or other to see their contents.
I want to say that it would be great to have the ability to lock these two windows in the bottom of the screen with a vertical separator or not.

    Thanks & regards.

      Good idea!
I find the Find/Replace window too big.
It seems to be a good solution to improve this inconvenient.

I would love it if it worked like Firefox's search, popping up as a small toolbar on the bottom. Doesn't cover the page or interfere with anything.

Hi you have already a little this function with the incremental search ctrl+maj=I

          Hi,
Yes but the incremental search ctrl+maj=I does not support the find in files feature and all the find options.
An advanced find/replace toolbar on the bottom should be better.
