Version 1.1

nOS 1.1 is the newest iteration to nOS. It includes performance enhancements and bug fixes as well as a whole new set of utilities.

nOS 1.1 Release Notes

This version of nOS allows improved compatibility with most systems and it mekes the interface a lot cleaner and more aesthetically pleasing. It gives a few more features that you may or may not notice like Bluetooth Support and iso mounting. This release also incorporates some bug fixes and general updates.

Bugs Fixed:

Some Nvidia Graphics Cards may cause the system to crash or freeze.(nOS Bug #1)
Some graphics may look old and similar to Windows 95.

Bugs Present:

Wifi Manager reports that the connection has failed (KDE Bug #322631, nOS Bug #2)

How to Install:

Download the file to your downloads folder
Open Konsole
In Konsole type cd ~/Downloads && sh ./1.1
Enter your password
The install will begin
If your internet connection is slow you may have to enter your password multiple times
During the install you will need to select an IR Reciever and IR Transmitter if you have one. If not select None on both the screens.
You will also need to select oxygen-gtk on both the dialog messages that appear so the graphics is improved.
