Nokialib is a PalmOS communication library to implement Nokia protocol to talk to
61xx via IR. It's purpose is to provide communication services for
applications to synchronise address book, and date book between a
PalmPilot and a Nokia 61xx (at least 6150). My initial goal was to port (parts of) gnokii (http://gnokii.org/) on PalmPilot...
Sources will be available as soon as SourceForge staff will successfuly

I used to have N 6150 but decided to take the easy way out:
just bought a Siemens S25 where IrComm and IrOBEX just work.
I already had a look at sources on this topic
- IR-ping by Till Harbaum
- irtest by Tom Dyas
- gnokii
- www.irda.org has good info on the different layers of IRDA communication (there are some useful PDF's there)
- there also is a mailing list on eGroups ("palm-nokia" IIRC)
