#2 instant spindown

noflushd[21055]: Spinning up /dev/hda after 0 minutes.

laptop was spun down; noflushd started with -n 20 5
pulled plug, which sent signal
disk spun up, then spun down again instantly,
then spun up again.

1st spinup maybe to read "kill" and APM scripts,
then instant spindown 'cause it was up longer than 5
before? don't know. like it anyway.

Okay, I think I see the problem. noflushd so far can't
handle manual interaction, i.e. is assumes a disk is running
unless noflushd itself spun it down. When you started with a
spun down disk, noflushd issued another spindown when it's
timeout was exceeded. This command blocked because the disk
was in standby already. When the APM scripts had to be read,
the disk spun up, noflushd's spindown command unblocked, the
disk went down again, and immediatly spun up again for
further reads. Okay, fix is to check the power status of the
disk at least before spinning down. Thanks for the report.

    Fixed in noflushd 2.5.
