I have just released version 1.0 of the Noffle news server.

NEWS:

In the 1.0pre8 release, debug logging was enabled in the standard
settings, which slowed down Noffle considerably and is even
suspected to cause timeouts at the remote server when querying group lists.
It is disabled by default now.
