#6 delay cancel processing

Please delay the processing of cancels or
supersedes. It takes a lot of time to delete
the old article from the database. Just delete
the old overview (and leave deletion of the actual article for noffle --expire) or delete the old article
after fetching all the new articles.

I think it's deleting the overview that likely to be taking the time.

But unless the old article is widely crossposted, or in a group with a
very large overview, the time taken to delete it shouldn't be that great.
Are you saying that processing them in-line adds significantly to your
connect time during a fetch?
