Hi, 1) We solved the mystery about the not functioning Query: the wrapper gets the name of the primary key out of the config-file with the tag <dbprimary>. It is a new tag but it is not mentioned in the documentation, so it was not resident in the file used untill now. 2) Another thing: I saw that the root-element is being set inconsistently: In nodexml.php on line 39 it is NODEXML all in upper case and in class_xmlbuilder.php on line 86 it is nodeXML node in lower, XML in upper case (like we write it in documentations). I propose to use upper case in general for element names and their attributes. So let us also write the elements error, code and message in upper case. Perhaps we should even encourage the user to write the element names in the mapfiles and the configfiles in upper case (even if it is not mandatory as it can be compensated in PHP-processing). 3) The XML-stream coming back still has no declaration concerning its XML-content or the Sign-table that it uses. I mean, at the beginning we still lack the line <?xml version='1.0' encoding='ISO-8859-1'?> for latin content. This line is important for the characterization of the content. 4) I would also propose, when we all will install the corrected version, to install it in a separate directory to the old one, for example for IAO the path is actually http://www.iao.florence.it/nodexml/nodexml.php. When the new nodeXML will have to be installed, we should do it in something like http://www.iao.florence.it/nodexml3beta/nodexml.php so we can still use the old system while testing the new one. Hi, the problem appears no matter which field is taken (TITLE and SUBJECT_AREA are plain, GEOFOCUS is otom): http://localhost/nodexml/nodexml.php?q=SELECT+zadilist1+FROM+zadi+WHERE+TITLE=legum http://localhost/nodexml/nodexml.php?q=SELECT+zadilist1+FROM+zadi+WHERE+SUBJECT_AREA=legum http://localhost/nodexml/nodexml.php?q=SELECT+zadilist1+FROM+zadi+WHERE+GEOFOCUS=AFRICA Bye -- - Christian Hornstein - EIARD-InfoSys - Zentralstelle für Agrardokumentation und -information (ZADI) - Villichgasse 17 - - D-53177 Bonn - - Tel : +49 228 9548 147 - Fax : +49 228 9548 111 - Email : hor...@za... - http://www.eiard-infosys.org/ |

If you query nodeXML on a different field do you get the same error? M. |

Hi, 1) include_path problem: I now used c:/temp and it worked. So I just let it there. 2) Query-problem: TITLE_ENG is a plain field. As I said, this query (http://localhost/nodexml/nodexml.php?q=SELECT+zadilist1+FROM+zadi+WHERE+TITLE_ENG=soil) works with older versions. If you need any configuration information or something just ask.
