Hello, As requested by DevKnight(Arthur Wilson), I have added a couple of CTCP Security features. These include enabling and disabling CTCP replies(Ping, Version and Time), ignoring CTCP requests from ignored nicks and CTCP flooding protection. There is also a feature called CTCP bouncing allowing the user to "bounce" the CTCP requests back to the user who is flooding him or her.. dionyziz. --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Hello, I have completed the Feature Request "TimeStamp" submitted by W. Krakowski. Node can now show the current time in front of any message in the status window, in privates and in channels. A new feature has been implemented: Hot Keys code. This allows a user to assign actions to hot keys(currently supporting F-keys and Ctrl + letter) from the Options Dialog. Node now supports multiple instances, as requested by W. Krakowski. As suggested by Witold Krakowski, each panel now remembers its width. This means that if a user has opened two panels and resizes them differently, they will keep their different width while somebody switches between them. In the current under developement version of Node(this is CVS Alpha 0.32) you will notice that you can open several panels at the same time and switch between them. Assume, now, that you open two panels, Connect(from File > Connect) and Join(from IRC > Join)(notice the order I open them) and that you resize the connect panel to a certain width, so that both tabs are visible and no scroll bars are there. Then, go back to the join panel and resize it so that only one tab(the join tab) is visible and there are scroll bars visible too. If you use the `<' button of the scroll bar to see the Connect tab button and click on it, the panel will switch to the Connect panel and resize properly. This will cause the scroll bars to disappear, however you see that only the join tab is visible! This makes it impossible to see the focused Join tab as there are no scroll bars there. The Plugin support of node is now working. You can load plugins, show their settings, let them start on startup and = so on. We now need to add some functions to the plugins interface. Like a function for sending a message to all the channels you're in. Christian (ch-world) |

This is a current to-do/fix/add list of things before release of Alpha =
0.32:
1) Voice Converstations - the code is primitive and untested.
2) Panels - some of the parts are not positioned correctly
3) Hot Keys - code is there, needs to be finished
4) Nicklist - needs to be able to be resized
5) Polish and Italian Translations - need to be finished
6) Avatars - convert to direct download instead of DCC
7) Toolbar - needs color palette (+ code for it) and needs to be =
customizable
8) Skins (other than default) - needs to be converted to the new =
code
9) Plug-ins - finish support and create some
I just want to say that everyone is doing a good job on this release. I =
am getting excited about an Alpha release. Keep up the good work. =
