Hi Guys,
I want to join the project, but VB is out-dated for me,
so i was wondering when the project-members will
switch to VB.NET ?
And the fact that Visual Studio is expensive is not a
good argument to take, cause there is also
SharpDevelop which is completely free.
At least i really like the visual basic scripting support :-)
Happy Coding !
Best Regards,
pbielen

Yeah, VB 6.0 is old, but it's significantly faster. It's probably
against the EULA for me to say anything about this, but
VB.NET programs run at about 33% of the speed which VB6
programs do, with speed optimizations set to the maximum on
both. I don't think it would be wise to switch to VB.NET
because of speed issues, as NodeIRC is in need of more
speed, not less.
