Node IRC is a fine thing and I stopped using mIRC. But one feature is missing. After IRC surfing you may want to delete your trace. With Node IRC it is possible to delete the irc servers visited. But not to delete the channels visited. To obscure you have to open up a full round of channels like test1 to test10 remaining and replacing in your list.

Yes, you are quite right about that. We are currently working on a new version of Node, which resolves this small problem of privacy in shared computers. Please be patient; we are going to release it at some point within the summer (not to be expected very soon, however, since it contains a rewrite of most basic parts of the client).
