The Noble Ape Simulation creates a tropical island, and simulates the ape inhabitants cognitive processes. It features a new colour third-person-perspective landscape rendering engine (Ocelot).

Noble Ape is available on Windows and Mac OS Classic/X. There is an alpha Linux/XWindows version as well as a Java port.

Changes In This Release

Speed improvements on rendering the brain graphics. Bug fix, correct file saving on all OS versions. This version will be demonstrated by Apple engineers at Session 506 of Apple's World Wide Developers' Conference 2003.
