Can anyone tell me how to access input parameters
in the customization section of NMS FormMail? I
want to update a file based on the value of one
of the inputs before email is sent.

The "customization section" is designed to apply global environment
changes and/or add to the configuration that is passed to the script
infrastructure when it is instantiated - the input parameters are not
available at the point. To achieve what you want you would need to
alter some of the subroutines in the package CGI::NMS::Script::FormMail
and to be honest this would be one of those "if you have to ask then you
probably don't want to try" things.
If you are simply writing out some file from the content of your form
then you might want to consider using our TFmail program which can do
this easily, if you have more elaborate requirements you might want to
consider creating a custom program from scratch - however if you choose
the latter you may want to start with the modules from the modules
version of FormMail as these encapsulate the mail sending and validation
present in the program.
