Gah. Do they fake IE well enough that one can't tell them from a real IE?
eg if the have the User-Agent spot on, do they have the accept headers right
for what IE typically accepts? There's not enough in common logfile formats
to answer that question, is there?

Maybe IE doesn't screw up on 400s. I don't have a machine capable of running
IE here, let alone a copy, so I can't test it.
