Embedding POD sounds like an excellent idea. If NMS is supposed to help
teach proper Perl coding style, including at least some POD seems like it
ought to be part of the mix there. The scripts can also have a short "in
order to read the documentation for $foo, try 'perldoc $foo. On most
systems this will provide... yadda... if it doesn't work, you can just
read the top of the script itself."
