I'm not suggesting that we should change the storage scheme: this would
militate against one of our tenets which is to retain compatibility with
an existing installation of the equivalent MSA program, rather I am trying
to draw peoples attention to the possibility that the current storage
mechanism does have an issue wherein a black hat could fill your disk up
quite quickly with a succession of follow-ups to their own threads.

I don't think I would be bothered to write yet another bulletin board
(YABB) if we were going to discard the backward compatibility requirement
- I would tend to push people in the direction of FooBBS

have some external module requirements ...

Not that I would like to discourage anyone from creating a new storage
mechanism that could be used on green field sites (bearing in mind this
can't use any non-Core modules so XML or DBI is out :()
