Matt got tired of waiting for us to fix the files (even tho' it's nightime in the UK) and has emailed the SourceForge admins (copying me) demanding that action is taken. I've therefore removed the README files from all of the packages (except countdown, which I fixed last night) and have replaced them with a skeleton which needs to be filled in. I haven't put these skeleton files into CVS yet. You'll need to download a tarball from <http://nms-cgi.sourceforge.net/> and pull it from there. The skeleton file currently points people to the READMEs on Matt's site. This is obviously not a good idea, so the quicker we get it all fixed, the better. Thanks for your help.
