Nick,

Thank you for your help! Although my server documentation stated the path the path to mail was usr/bin/sendmail your suggestion of usr/sbin/sendmail made it work.

However, FormMail works without a broken pipe now but it does not send any mail. I looked at the server error log and the error was shown as File does not exist    ..../html/css/nms.css . Since I have the $style set to 0 as:

$style             = 0;   (I also tried  = '0';   and  = "0"; with no luck).   Do I need the nms.css  file if $style is set to zero? If I don't use a style sheet do I have to set up another file somewhere to hold the script generated messages?

I do very much appreciate your help!

Tom

That usually indicates that the sendmail program has
failed to sent the mail, often because $mailprog is set
wrong

Are you sure /usr/bin/sendmail is correct for your system ?

/usr/sbin/sendmail and /usr/lib/sendmail are more usual.

Those both look OK.
