Switched from using msgbox() to using the specific dir_message() function.
This corresponds to one component of the patch_II file attached to https://gna.org/task/?6847 by Michael Bieri (https://gna.org/users/michaelbieri).
This will again be a problem because dir_message() is not defined in gui_bieri.relax_gui.
