First of all, I would like to thank you for developing njmon. It is a fantastic tool!

I am currently looking for the best way to use njmond.py as a central collector/proxy. My goal is to gather performance data from multiple agents and forward them to an InfluxDB instance.

I noticed that your website mentions an njmond_v80 package, but I was unable to locate it in the SourceForge repository. Currently, I am using njmond.py v56, but it seems there is a compatibility gap when receiving data from the newer njmon v92 agents.

Could you please point me to the latest version of the Python injector?

Thank you for your time and for this great tool!
Best regards,

    Hi Philipp,
Thanks for pointing this issue out.
I recently pruned a lot of old versions of nmon, njmon and the other tools and it seems I went to far.
    I just added back njmond_v81.zip
Let me know if you have further problems.
    Cheers, Nigel

    Hi Nigel,

Thanks for the quick reply! I can confirm that njmond_v81 is up and running and works perfectly.

Just as a heads-up: I noticed some "RuntimeError: can't start new thread" messages while importing datasets via njmon2influxturbo.py. I need to dig a bit deeper into my environment settings to see what’s causing that.

On another note, I was looking for the nmeasure packages for AIX to add some custom metrics. It seems they are missing, too?

Thanks again for the great support and tools!

    Cheers, Philipp
