Sent this yesterday as a personal message. Realize now that this is a more appropriate channel.
Not sure how to enforce the same indentation as in the original sources - sorry about that.

In essence: If the window is wider than 128+some characters allow 128 CPUs displayed per window-pane (if the CPU count is larger than 128). This strives to show two sub-panes for large CPU count hosts, and never show more than 4. (Also preserves current restriction of 256 or so max CPUs)

I'm happy to add more coding to make it more adaptable to larger CPU counts and preferences (full socket(s) within the same pane etc) if there is interest. The code is hopefully general and understandable enough to allow for me and others to modify the view of CPU usage.

I'd really appreciate some feedback on this. I have done the work to support an adaptable number of CPUs for displaying the CPU utilization, so I can submit the next gen of this code that supports up to 1024 CPUs and adapts the number of CPUs displayed to the current screen size.

Thanks for the suggestion and code - I will investigate and try it.
