When I try to ran a basic scan on a range of IP's after
a fresh instill of Nmapwin 3.0 on a win98 machine, I
get this:

Starting nmap V. 3.00 ( www.insecure.org/nmap )
You need raw support for this.
run "nmap --win_list_interfaces --win_trace" to
troubleshoot
QUITTING!

Can't figure out what's up. Any and all help would be
VERY appreciated. Thanks.

Take the nmap --win_list_interfaces --win_trace , paste it
into the ip address window , click the scan button. This
will run a script to determine where your failure is

You have to install pcap (Windows packet filter driver/library).
Win98 has no support for raw sockets, which are needed by
    nmap and nmapwin.

win98 is not supported. Nevertheless you can try to install the
    pcap library properly.
