First Stable Version of Nonlinear Optic Tools

NLO is a graphical user interface written in Java, which helps studying optical nonlinear effects like Maker fringes.

Implemented features:

* Plot the theoretically expected maker fringes
* Plot any other dataset with the 'Import' function and the genvlin plotter
* Zooming and translating of the captured image or of the current plot.
* Pnuts as Scripting Language ('better java') so that you can manipulate the plotted data from within a 'commandline'... read more

New Snapshot available

The latest September snapshot of Nonlinear Optic Tools allows you to study the nonlinear optical effects of crystals. It offers a GUI to plot the theoret. expected "maker fringes", captures images from video, retrieves data from and sends data to a LockIn, controls a stepping motor, imports dataset, plots dataset and some more.

July Snapshot of Nonlinear Optic Tools

This preview includes the following changes:

* plot theoretically expected 'maker fringes' with the fast and small plotter from genvlin project
* capture image from camera or periodically get an image from file - if you don't use linux.
* capture data points from Lock In (sr 830) by RS 232, but interfaces allows fast development of new A/D or D/A devices.
* import/view other datafiles

Successfully tested under Suse Linux 10.0 and jdk1.6.0_01.... read more
