I recompiled njbfs with a updated kernel headers (and kernel) and it compiles file. Im at 2.4.17 now. I mounted the dirs as described in the README/FAQ, but they all show the same thing - a list of tracks: none on /d/nomad/albums type njbfs (rw,dir=albums) none on /d/nomad/artists type njbfs (rw,dir=artists) none on /d/nomad/playlists type njbfs (rw,dir=playlists) none on /d/nomad/tracks type njbfs (rw,dir=tracks) damn, I just went to look at the playlists dir again and the nomad was powered off (battery use auto timeout), and that crashed my machine. (file that as a different bug). Ok rebooted - reattached nomad, remounted dirs - playlists is also mp3 files: root@bathtub:3000 /0 /d/nomad>du 395805 ./tracks 395805 ./playlists 395805 ./albums 395805 ./artists (not that thats proof but gives an idea, there's like 400 mp3 files on the thing, dont want to list them all). Also, when I try to delete a track from the tracks dir, nothing happens - the track isnt removed (and the command generates no error). copying a track to the tracks dir doesnt work either: root@bathtub:3006 /0 /win/media/mp3>cp baseck.mp3 /d/nomad/tracks cp: cannot create regular file `/d/nomad/tracks/baseck.mp3': Invalid argument Am I using it wrong? "You need gcc >=2.95.3 ld >=2.10.91 GNU Make version >= 3.79.1" I have: gcc version 2.95.4 20010902 (Debian prerelease) GNU ld version 2.11.90.0.1 (with BFD 2.11.90.0.1) GNU Make version 3.79.1, by Richard Stallman and Roland McGrath. /kc -- Ken Chase, ma...@ve... * Velocet Communications Inc. * Toronto, CANADA |
