Version 2.2 has various bug fixes and includes a new map merging utility in case more than one person is working on the same map. The GUI layout has been changed to hopefully improve the look on some systems. Other new features include the ability to specify whether an enemy's name is a proper noun and scenario specific splash screens.
Version 2.1 of NitsLoch now comes with a GUI editor for creating scenario XML files. This should eliminate the need to edit XML directly with a text editor and will make it much easier to create a scenario.
The new NitsLoch is much more customizable that NL 1.0. It comes with an editor that will allow you to make your own maps. By changing an xml file, you can specify your own weapons, armor and enemies. You can replace all of the images with your own. You can use this engine to make a fairly wide variety of RPGs.
Other improvements from NL 1.0: Comes with a scenario in color. Also dungeons were added.
