&lt;li&gt;Writes to the file or device that is associated with the path number specified. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Write Line is similar to Write. The difference is that Write Line writes data until it encounters a carriage return character. It also activates line editing for character-oriented devices, such as terminals and printers. The line editing refers to auto line feed, null padding at the end of the line, backspacing, line deleting, and so on. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Before using Write Line, be sure the path opened or created in the write or update access mode. &lt;/li&gt;
