&lt;li&gt;Although this call is similar to F$Link, it does not map the specified module into the user’s address space but does return the memory requirement for the module. A calling process can use this memory requirement information to fork a program with a maximum amount of space. F$NMLink can therefore fork larger programs than can be forked by F$Link. &lt;/li&gt;
