Installation of Nitasa CMS

Currently Nitasa doesn't supports automatic installation, it supports only manual installation. Automatic installation will be there in next version of Nitasa.
To install the Nitasa on your local server or web server please follow the below steps.

before installing Nitasa I will recommended to check the Faq about "What are the system requirements for Nitasa cms?" below

Step 1. Download the Nitasa source code from source control or as a Zip file from this page and extract it.
Step 2. Create the database in MS Sql server support lets say "Nitasa-cms"
Step 3. Create a database user in MS Sql server and give permission for "Nitasa-cms" database (save username and password into safe place)
Step 4. Find the script.sql file from extracted folder and run that script into the nitasa-cms database
Step 5. Find Web.config file from extracted folder and search for the tag "<add name="NITASAConnection" connectionstring="Integrated Security=False;Initial Catalog={yourdatabasename};Data Source={yourdatabaseserver};User Id={databaseusername};Password={databasepassword};" providername="System.Data.SqlClient">"
Step 6. In above connection string replace {yourdatabasename},{yourdatabaseserver},{databaseusername},{databasepassword} variables with your actual database detail and save it
Step 7. For web site copy all the files/folder from extracted folder to httpdocs folder on website using ftp client
Step 8. For local configuration create a virtual directory in IIS and set the path for extracted folder.
Step 9. Give write permission to below folder
-> Views/themes
-> Content/media
-> Areas/Admin/assets/images/avatars</add>
