Thanks for the quick answer Noraiz, as it turns out we did have a supported Zebra ZPL printer in one of our storage areas and I was able to test a few of the largest size labels supported. Our organization is a small not-for-profit. I'll email sales@greatengland.co.uk for prices on NIS.

Hi @Charles M, LP-2844 is not supported due to being old technology and it does not utilize ZPL language, LP-2844 supports EPL language which is obsolete and no longer supported. However, if you are interested we can modify the software to work with LP-2844, please contact our support team email. Hi Noraiz, wonderful software. Unfortunately our Zebra printer isn't supported (LP-2844 which is an EPL printer). One issue I've had with every single system I've tested is no hard drives appear to be showing up (they're definitely installed). Using a version I downloaded a couple of days ago. Also notebook web cams don't appear, though it appears there's a category. Also would be nice to have the price for the software listed on the web site.

This program seems to just keep adding to a machine database. Is there a provision to remove machines from the inventory as they are removed from a warehouse? I would like to know how many of what type of machines are currently available in a warehouse at any given time.

Maybe be useful for you Second thing is one graphic card on scan, when laptop have two graphic card Third thing. please add to GUI comment option to scanned position in reports. its good options to save info about Windows licence, resolution etc.

Graphics card video driver software Graphics Libraries such as GL and DirectX Video Graphics card memory and hardware Physical screen / monitor display There is no generic method to obtain maximum resolution of the graphics card or the system because NIS is "OS" operating system less Inventory solution, no graphics related drivers or software are installed. NIS is designed to work with DVD discs, if you burn the ISO image to DVD and then try to install, it should install flawless.

Look forward to using the software but I cannot get to install using Rufus to copy ISO to USB drive. Must it be burned to optical disk?? Error is "I dont know where the CDROM lives. Optimization canceled. The mondorestore command was not found on your backup media. It may mean your device is not seen correctly. Check driver list and error messages Type 'exit' to reboot the PC.

The instruction are great and all, but seeing as most people who are security centric will want to know the usernames and passwords for all the machines on their network, please give us the default username and password so we can change it. If you want people in the opensource community to help you make the software better how are they supposed to do it if you treat it like a proprietary software and calling it opensource at the same time? Also would be good if part of the install process it asked...

Hi Basavaraj ZPL printers are supported plug and play, no need to install any drivers. Just plug the USB printer into NIS server's usb port and make sure printer is powered on. Also ensure the printer has a correct size label roll installed. Labels will automatically print. You can preselect the size of the label from management console. I hope this helps. Thanks Noraiz

The message you see "We are sorry you have reached Free License Limit" only appears when the limit is reached to 50 computers. I have programmed and designed this software so I know it there are 50 or more inventory items that is why you are seeing that message. Regarding exporting to CSV format, it definitely works, Excel, PNG, CSV, JSON and etc all export options works absolutely fine. You can watch the youtube video in action. I dont understand why you want to export the inventory items to HTML format. All reports are displayed as HTML. If you want to export the report in Microsoft Excel or CSV format then it makes sense but I dont understand why you want to be able to download the report in HTML format. Can you give me scenario or an example why HTML export would be useful for the community?

Hi Daniel, the problem you have described is not related to the NIS software. Different hardware vendors stores processor information in BIOS of the computer differently. Could you please take a screenshot of the audit report from management console and attach it here?

I think I mis-understood your question. Export inventory data either in bulk or individual items are currently supported in following formats. PDF PNG PowerPoint Word XLS - Microsoft Excel TXT - Plain Text Format CSV - Comma Separated CSV text format SQL XML JSON (with Escape Character) JSON Every report header has following buttons, click one of these buttons will download a report to your local system which you can use as desired. Yes it is possible to export each item in HTML, but this has to be a new feature request, tell me if HTML export feature is added how you want the html to look like for example exported html output should be in DIV or html table?. If you tell me more what exactly you are trying to achieve by download each inventory item as HTML I should be able to help. Currently XML and JSON exports formats are supported, you can easily convert XmL to HTML format if you know how to do it.
