#13 Fails to display properly under NetBSD 3.0

Using Radeon 7000 card with 64MB, NetBSD 3.0, and whatever X server that NetBSD 3.0 uses, compiled NetBSD binary for nighthawk-2.3; changing pictures simply don't appear, only their first frames do. However, when using the same program with the window exported to another X server, it all displays properly. As well, when running NightHawk on another non-NetBSD machine with the window exported to the NetBSD's X display, it also works.
Seems I have a curly one here, and I don't know how to fix it.
