I downloaded and installed the latest version of NiceVS and I'm no longer able to use the Find in Files feature. It doesn't matter if I press Ctrl+Shift+F or if I select find in Files from the menu. When I make the selection nothing happens. If I disable NiceVS and restart Visual Studio then the problem goes away. Is it possible to look into this issue?

I too have seen this issue (using 0.9.1.1). I have Win7-x64, with VS 2012 Ultimate SP2, the Pro PowerTools for VS2012 and TFS 2012 Power tools installed. Also have .NET 4.5.

As a workaround, I found that doing a quick-find (CTRL-f), does work, and from in that popup, you can do everything that Find-In-Files does (I think), although it's a few extra mouse clicks. But it would be nice to have Find-In-Files fixed.

Thank you for creating this VS plug-in, it's very much appreciated!

I am having this exact same problem. It took me awhile to figure out what was causing it. Horrible, horrible bug! I use find in files probably over 100 times a day. I have VS2012 Pro, Win7-x64.

Guys I've noticed this as well. Thank you to pointing me that it can be connected with NiceVS. I was going to blame Microsoft.
I'll fix it ASAP, but not earlier than this weekend. In the meantime, please see a workaround provided for ticket#4 https://sourceforge.net/p/nicevs/tickets/4/
