Given a mapping like this:

  <class name="Foo">
    ...
    <property name="IsBar" column="`Bar?`" />
  </class>

The following HQL fails trying to replace the question mark with a parameter:

  from Foo

This, however, works correctly:

  select IsBar from Foo
