Hello,
I continue developing ngtbx. I use now Vista Enterprise and VB 2005 Express. It works fine for
me now. So I decided to continue the work on ngtbx.
I also think about ngtbx-ng (next generation) with a complete re-design to prevent the mistakes I made till now and to produce a more stable system.
But that are only thoughts ...

Hi there. I am pausing the development of ngtbx until got a Vista compatible Visual basic Express Edition.
This is because my desktop at work has switched to Vista and I have no chance to test ngtbx at home ...
Thanks,
Mark
Some bugfixing and some additions made.
Please submit your ideas and I need more info about bugs and strange behaviours.
Thanks,
Mark
Hi there,
I rearranged the controls and change the layout a little bit.
Also a PUT function to the nagios server is implemented because I use this to deploy my local nagios directory (where I do all my nagios testing) to the server.
The open server list file was changed to prevent failures if use/member values are not given as boolean parsable strings.
Thats for it now.
Hi there. I now implemented the function to get the ressource data from the nagios server (if put there before ;-) ).
And I additionally implemented a backup function for the local nagios directory.
I also try how to access a non-domain server, but without great luck yet.
Sorry for some inconvenience but there were some bugs/missing features in the last releases. As I said this piece of software is for my daily work and therfor I mostly hardcoded the settings into the program and ... it worked.
Or the browse for local nagios directory button : I never need it.
But I try to avoid such mistakes in the future.
I created a new ALPHA with fixed bugs. I never remember them before, because they did not affect my daily work ...
