What exactly is wrong?

I too do not see anything unexpected between runs using the two 
netlists you supplied (plus Dietmar''s model card). The attached pdf 
shows the plots I obtained.

I am, like Dietmar, running a version of ngspice recently taken from 
cvs.  What version are you using?

Could you please post some small amount of data that shows the problem, 
and a brief explanation.  It could be some assumption that we are 
making about your simulation is incorrect, or you may see some error 
that is more subtle that we realise.
