(Excuse me for my bad English)

We can run ngspice in interactive mode and get useful graphic plots with plot command.
This requires type in some commands. We must retype this commands (run, plot ...) on each resimulation.

We can run ngspice in batch mode and do not type in any commands. But in this mode we will get not so
useful pseudographic plots from .plot directive.

We can't do this simple thing: run ngspice in batch mode and then explore useful graphic plots.

What do you think about adding command line option that enables graphic answer on .plot directives in batch mode?

    Sergey,

    batch mode is run when nobody is there to watch any output. Interactive graphics and batch mode is not compatible.

    Put your interactive commands into your input file, enclosed in a
    .control
    <your commands>
    .endc
    structure, and you will immediately get what you want, runnibg ngspice in interactive mode.

    Holger
