Purpose of code changes on this branch:  Added stats gathering and printing to assess quality of data used for the assembly.  Comparison between raw reads and bases with EC reads and bases.
If a large % of reads pass the QC but a much lower % of bases pass the QC would be a hint at a big drop in read quality after a particular read length.

When reviewing my code changes, please focus on: accuracy of files used.
