  That was the magic phrase I didn't dare use (digital verification)... If only PKI was universally available.

  Sure, once everyone has digital certs, and also access to some registry for roles (like recruiter, travel agent).

  I'm not arguing with that. I agree there is value there and that it is a good place to start.
